Once after the Fire Stick is connected to your home Wi-Fi network, you can use it to stream live videos, shows, movies, and music to your TV through your Amazon account.
You may have any brand television setup at your home. Irrespective of the type, you have to first connect the Amazon Fire Stick directly to the HDMI port of the television provided at the back side. Subsequently, switch ON your TV and check the connected input is present or not. Ensure that the detected input is correct.
Secondly, ensure that the micro-USB power cord is plugged into the Fire Stick and the other end of the USB cord is connected to the included power adapter and plugged into an open power source outlet. There is no need to use the included adapter if your TV has an open USB port. So, you can directly plug the cable into the TV for your convenience.

Just as you find the name of your home network in the list of available wifi networks, use the directional button on the remote to highlight the network and select it using the Select button at the center.
Note: If you don't find your preferred network, go for "Rescan" shown in the bottom of list. If your preferred network is hidden for some reason, select "Join Other Network" at the bottom of list and manually enter the name of your network.
So, if your network has password, type the password for your wifi network using the on-screen keyboard. If your network has no password, it will automatically attempt to connect without any password.
Once you enter the network password, you will see Connect button in the lower-right corner of the on-screen keyboard. This way you can Connect Amazon Fire Stick to WiFi network. If the connection is right, it will show "Connected" below the network's name on the list of nearby networks. In order to return to the Home screen of the Fire Stick, press the Home button on remote.
