Amazon smart speakers are Bluetooth-compatible. This enables a user to control audio streaming service on his iPhone by giving voice commands to Alexa.
You can connect your iOS smartphone to Amazon assistant using Bluetooth. This gives you the power to control audio streaming services on the following devices.
First of all, connect your iPhone to Amazon Echo smart speakers using Bluetooth. To pair both the devices place them close to one another. After that, launch settings app on your iOS smartphone. Now, go to Bluetooth and turn it on.
Now, give a command to Alexa to pair by saying “Alexa pair”. Alexa will process your command and put your device in the pairing mode. You will also receive a verbal response from Alexa confirming that your Amazon Echo is in the pairing mode.
After that, you will receive a notification on your iPhone screen asking you whether you want to pair with the Amazon device or decline the request. Touch on pair to connect both the devices using Bluetooth. You will also receive a confirmation from Alexa when the two devices will get connected to one another. Once the pairing is done, you will just have to say “connect my phone” to Alexa to establish the connection.
On your iPhone’s screen, you will see the connected status under Bluetooth. You can also see the connected status by going to the end of the screen where you will see the “Other Devices” where you will see your Echo Device.
After pairing your Alexa device to iPhone, you can launch the music streaming service on your iPhone and play the song of your choice and listen to songs on your Amazon Echo speakers.
