Before you go ahead and perform the steps to update MXQ Pro firmware, you need a USB burning tool, a USB cable, and a Windows computer with an internet connection.
Below are the steps that you need to follow to update MXQ 4K firmware.
Step 1: First of all, download the latest MXQ Pro software.
Step 2: Power off your MXQ Pro device. After that, press the reset button and then hold it. Don't release the reset button till the end.
Step 3: Now, download the USB burning to on your computer and then connect the device to your computer.
Step 4: After that, run the.exe tool and then carry out the prompts appearing on the screen to install the USB burning tool.
Step 5: Once the installation is complete, your MCQ Pro 4K will get connected. Then, you will see a USB-burning tool box on the screen.
Step 6: Go to the File menu and then click on the "import image" option.
Step 7: Search for the firmware .img file.
Step 8: Uncheck the OverWrite key on your Window's right side.
Step 9: Now, update the device by clicking on the Start button.
Step 10: Once the update is complete, hit the Stop button.
Step 11: in the end, release the reset button.
