Steps to Reprogram Genie Garage Door Keypad-
Step 1: First of all, unscrew your device's light cover, which is installed in the garage door.
Step 2: Now, go to the genie keypad and then reprogram the old code.
Step 3: Press and hold number 6 and the program button. Simultaneously, press the Up or Down button.
Step 4: After that, press the keys 3, 5, and 7. Now, press the program button.
Step 5: Now, reprogram the code by entering the new code. After that, press the program button.
Step 6: Then, a red light will blink a few times.
Step 7: On your garage door opener, press the Learn button. Then, you will see the red light blinking under the Learn Button. After that, you need to verify the code within the next 30 seconds.
Step 8: Now, return to the keypad and then enter the new code 2344.
Step 9: After that, go back to the garage door opener. Now, the blinking red light will turn to solid red light.
Step 10: Then, press the Up or Down button within the next 30 seconds.
Step 11: Wait for the backlit lights to turn off before you go ahead and test the reprogrammed code.
