Step 1: Charge the Battery

Firstly, you need to fully charge the given battery by plugging it into a USB port via orange cable. Once the battery is fully charged the green LED turns to green.

Step 2: Insert the Battery

Take out the battery from the charging port and ensure that the Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus’s faceplate is off.
Insert the battery having the flat metal catch facing the front side of the doorbell. Note that the largest part of this catch should lie at the bottom.

Exit the Ring app by pressing the home button on your phone.
Visit the Settings app, and then tap Wifi.
If Android device, jump to Connection and then Wifi.
Select your preferred wifi network from the list of available networks. The network will appear as either:
“Ring-” followed by the last six digits of the MAC ID.
“Ring Setup” followed by the last two digits of the MAC ID.
Once connected, close your “Settings” app and return to the Ring app

Step 11: Connect Video Doorbell 3 Plus to Wifi

Make sure that you have the wifi password ready and you are near to your router.

Select your wifi network.
In case you are using more than one wifi network, then select the network closest point to install Video Doorbell 3 Plus.
Type in your wifi password and then press “Continue.”

Note: Once connected to wifi network, your Video Doorbell will update its internal software.
