If circle’s right side is flashing, then that means there is some issue with the wireless network. If this happens, then repeat the setup process in the same manner you did before. The setup successful when you are close to your router device but it fails when the router is kept far away.

Ring Video Doorbell Not Connecting to the Wireless Network-

First of all, launch the Ring app on your smartphone and check the wireless network to which your doorbell is connected.

In case unable to connect to the wireless network message appears on your screen, then these are the steps that you need to follow.

  • Please make sure that the wireless network to which your device is connected is on 2.4 GHz as Ring devices only work on 2.4 Gz other than Ring Video doorbell pro.
  • Now, press the orange button on your device for 30 seconds. This button is located at the back of your Ring video doorbell. This will factory reset your device and resolve the connection error.
  • Please ensure that your wireless channel is within the range of 1-11 as ring doorbells don’t support channel 13 or 12.
  • If your wireless network is either on 11 or 12, then it is advisable to change it from 1-11. You can get in touch with the wireless network provider support team to do this job.
  • Once you are done with performing all the steps, then your Ring doorbell will get connected to the wireless network and then you can move forward with the setup process.

Ring Doorbell Video Not Working-

Once you are done with setup, you would like to have a live view of everything so that you can know how everything looks like but when you try to see the video it gets stuck and you are not able to see any video. This may be because your doorbell has low power.

To solve this problem, you can either use the internal battery or you can connect it through the present wiring of the Ring doorbell. If you wish to watch a video on your security camera, then your Ring doorbell device needs to be fully charged.

If you connect the Ring doorbell to the power source, then you will be able to watch the live videos on the Ring app on your mobile phone. On your Ring doorbell device, go to the top left corner and then go to the Live View on the next screen. So, if someone arrives at your doorstep, then you can talk to them through the microphone.

Ring Doorbell Keeps on Ringing-

If your Ring doorbell does not stop ringing when you press the bell once, then this issue can be resolved by applying a simple solution. This problem occurs when the button of Ring doorbell is stuck downwards.

It is important for you to test the button of Ring by pressing it and then releasing it and check if it is stuck or not. If not, then ensure that audio notifications are enabled on your Ring app and Ring the doorbell.
